Chocolate Volcano with vanilla ice cream recipe

Ingredients for eight cakes:

  • 21/2 stick butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 125 g sugar
  • 250 dark chocolate
  • 50 g flour

    Preparation
  • Put the eggs , vanilla and sugar in a bowl and stir until you have a light mixture.
  • Melt the chocolate with the butter.
  • Carefully stir the melted chocolate butter into the egg mixture until you have a smooth mixture.
  • Mix the flour with the chocolate mixture.
  • Oil small baking moulds and put the mixture in the moulds. Place them in the refrigerator till needed .

    Baking:
  • heat oven 180°C and place the moulds in the oven for about 15 minutes. no more than 15 min .
  • Take the cakes out of the oven when they look dry outside and the chocolate inside is rising.
  • Carefully loosen the cakes from the moulds and turn the cakes upside down on a plate.
  • scoop one vanilla ice cream next to it .
  • Enjoy the taste of the chocolate volcano.

    1. You can make a big one using the Pampered Chef Microwave Rice Cooker. buy a chocolate cake mix, pre-made icing in a can. Put 1/2 the can of icing in the cooker first, then pour batter over it, secure lid and cook for 7 minutes. Works everytime!
