Born in 1954 in Manama, Bahrain, Abdul Rahim’s works is inspired by alienation, illness and hardship. His brush strokes and use of color translate into universal at the same time deeply personal creations. He aptly describes himself as an excellent Arabic, Persian, Indian, French and American mix. Abdul Rahim’s work has wowed many people over the years and has been selected as one of Christies leading artist and also will be featured in the “Word into Art” exhibition organized by the British Museum.
