I've had a chance to view the art work of Jawhara alSaud , which is going to open today @ Sultan gallery .
Meeting this wonderful talent makes you feel that her creation is far more imaginative , the technique that she used for her work is very unique , not to mention the concept behind each work .
Very contemporary , very live even without clear face figures , loved the work very much , it's worth visiting .
The artist bio:
Jowhara AlSaud was born in Saudi Arabia in 1978 and now splits her time between New York and Jeddah. As an undergraduate, she studied film theory at Wellesley College and went on to receive her Master of Fine Arts in 2004 from the School of The Museum of Fine Arts , Boston. she has exhibited her work internationally in group and solo shows. Most recently at Winkleman Gallery, NY and Schneider Gallery, Chicago. She has also exhibited at international art fairs in New York, Miami, Chicago, Mexico, Dubai and Basel, Switzerland. and now exhibitions include solo shows in Kuwait at Sultan gallery . Her work is part of the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, as well as private collections across Europe, the USA and the Middle East.
