Marie-Louise van Dedem, originally an international arts events organizer, discovered batik techniques in Java and drew on her eclectic background to create a modern context for the traditional art form. Applied to sumptuous cashmere-silk scarves, the prints become contemporary, wearable, exclusive and comforting, all at once.
