Simply stunning .
Steve Hermann in Montecito California designs and builds the kind of house Barbie lived in - The Barbie Dream House does exist. Modern, the cool white stone and blue waters of California, the crisp and functional interiors. It is pure design chic.
The sculptural light fixture really held its weight with the architecture and the panoramic view.
I can only imagine how stunning this home would be lit up at night ....

Bompas & Parr are enacting every child’s wildest fantasies with their world-first, artisanal chewing gum mirco-factory, a breathtaking pop-up installation at Bayswater’s Whiteleys Shopping Centre. Allowing visitors to get stuck right in, the mildly unhinged duo will be offering some 200 flavours to combine and sample however they choose – so, whether it’s smoked greek yoghurt with chili or ale yeast, black caviar and fig, you’d be hard pushed to bite off more than you can chew.

لقطات من حفل فيروز ، لبنان .
عادت المطربة اللبنانية فيروز مساء أمس الى بيروت مقدمة امسية من الغناء الرفيع تحدت فيهما سنواتها الخمس والسبعين ورافقتها اوركسترا متماسكة وتوزيع موسيقي حيوي فاعادت على مدى ساعتين الجمهور الى ذلك العصر الذهبي للغناء اللبناني.
وامتلأت قاعة مجمع بيال شرق بيروت بنحو سبعة آلاف شخص بينهم مسؤولون رسميون لبنانيون وفنانون لبنانيون وعرب اشتاقوا لرؤية فيروز على المسرح بعد غياب في وقت يقام الحفل في ظل خلاف لم تنته تردداته بعد بينها وبين ورثة شقيق زوجها منصور الرحباني حول حقوق ملكية الاعمال الفنية المشتركة للاخوين رحباني. اعتلت فيروز المسرح بطلتها الشامخة المعهودة مستهلة الحفل الذي يترافق مع صدور اسطوانة جديدة لها باغان قديمة من تأليف ابنها زياد الرحباني الذي كان حاضرا في تألقه التأليفي والتوزيعي رغم غيابه عن المسرح. وفي اطلالتها الثانية بعد استراحة قصيرة، أدت فيروز عددا من اغاني المجموعة الجديدة "ايه في أمل" الموقعة من زياد الرحباني.

The perfect contrast to the smooth lines and planed surfaces of Boffi’s designs, architect/designer Patrick Nadeau created an otherworldly installation based on a tropical landscape with glowing green vegetal rainfall. Skeletal and ethereal, the domes hung over the solidity off the Boffi kitchens and bathrooms, dimly lit to evoke the rain forests of South America.
