Yesterday i was invited by my dearest friend to Solo pizza restaurant , and it was total surprised by what i saw .

I saw a wonderful kuwaiti team doing all the wonderful work in the restaurant to serve their guests and please them , some of them are welcoming and seating their guests and make sure that they are comfortable , some are giving the menu and asking for your drink , some are taking the orders and some are cleaning the table.

Not to forget about the chef , Amer , a wonderful young talented man whom he was taken by his passion and love for pizza making , his passion make him stay in Italy for a year to learn how to make typical italian pizza .

The conclusion is outstanding . A real mouth watering italian pizza done by a 100% Kuwaiti hands .

Although the menu is small , but what they are aiming for is quality not quantity , we ordered margarita , bianca and the mushroom pizza and i can tell you that they are perfectly tasty and delicious . their are more choices in the menu but we kept them for the next visit , i highly recommend it , coz it's HOMEY ,TASTY & 100& KUWAITI .

About Chef Fawaz Alomaim :
He says : It all started when he once had cravings for a "Chicken Machboos".
At that time he could barerly spell cooking ! So the first thing he did was calling his dear mom..Gowwa yumma..can you please teach me how to do it. he kept calling her all day trying to get the exact instructions for the machboos..So he went to the Indian supermarket in 163rd st. to buy all the stuff he needed; spices, chicken, basmati rice...etc to cook that machboos..of course he ended up throwing most of it into the garbage because it was a disaster on a dish! Later on, he vowed.. that he will not rest until he eat his machboos..That is when he discovered that he is passionate not only about machboos but cooking itself..So he kept practicing and cooking and trying all sorts of dishes using the taste buds of his friends..his ginny pigs.And here , he will keep practicing and learning with you all about cooking..
That was chef Fawaz story about his cooking passion , so he created his own food business , here are few of the delicious food that he cook for Dewaniyas, family gatherings, ghabgat or when you're in the mood of having A REAl MEAL..

How to make an easy caramel .

Simply by placing an unopened condense milk tin in a boiling water and leave it to boil for about 3-4 hours , remove from the water , let it cool then open and serve over tarts , ice-creams or cakes .

A newly opened lebanese restaurant with a new concept where you don't order the food simply the food will be served at your table starting with there Mezza which includes ( hummus , cauliflower , kebbeh , lebneh , fatoush and tabouleh , mejedarah ...) as for the main course , every day they have a spacial dish , Friday was Fish dishes ( Sayadiyeh and fish kebbeh arnabiyeh ) , for the desert , only they serve rice pudding with cherry , mughli and fresh strewberry cream .
