Dri Dri gelato
Dri Dri is a wonderful italian gelato and sorbet, in the heart of Portobello market in Notting Hill.
The shop front is pretty small and there is no room to really eat in. All the ice-cream is kept in metal counter covered with lids so you can't choose by sight . The ice-cream is made fresh in the shop every day using a process called mantacazione where the ingredients are mixed and at the same time frozen to give it an authentic Italian taste. There are no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives. Instead flavouring comes from actually using pistachio from Sicily in the pistachio ice-cream and biscuits from Lugano in the biscotto. But importantly, does it taste any good?
